Your Social Media Guide to #InsideETFs

In a few short days, Joe Anthony and I will be jetting off to (hopefully) sunny Florida to geek out over exchange traded funds at the annual Inside ETFs conference in Hollywood, Fla. You can catch up on some of our recent ETF related commentary here and here.

One of my secrets to keeping a current pulse on the ETF industry is to frequently scan Twitter to keep tabs on the key influencers in this area. With Inside ETFs on the horizon, I thought I’d share some of the top ETF Twitter accounts that I follow – and you should too:

  1. Christian Magoon, Founder of YieldShares and Magoon Capital/@ChristianMagoon: Christian, who is one of our clients, is one of the earliest adopters of ETFs and helped drive education and acceptance of the products. In addition to offering the YieldShares High Income ETF, Christian consults on ETF launches and has helped bring more than 50 ETFs to market to date.
  2. Chris Dieterich, Barron’s columnist/@ChrisDieterich: As the author of the Barron’s Focus on Funds column, Chris keeps tabs on all things ETFs (plus hedge funds and mutual funds). He frequently updates his column to discuss ETF launches, closures, hits and misses.
  3. ETF.com/@ETFcom: If the name of the website didn’t allude to why it’s on the list, ETF.com takes an inside baseball look at the world of ETFs. In fact, ETF.com is sponsoring Inside ETFs!
  4. Eric Balchunas, ETF analyst at Bloomberg/@EricBalchunas: As Bloomberg’s go-to ETF commenter, Eric provides commentary, analysis and insight on products and trends.
